PFPX and REX Essential w/overdrive

Featured Replies

I didn't know which forum to post this to.

Has anyone used PFPX with "REX Essential with overdrive" ?

Also, if you use PFPX with REX, do you need to run REX weather in your flight or does PFPX inject weather into the sim?

Thanks

Rob,

PFPX is not a weather engine. It can download weather from either NOAA, or from a weather engine of choice like ASN, REX or FSGW.

It downloads weather information in relation to flight planning, nothing else.

As you seem to have REX, you need to set your weather addon in PFPX to REX in weather options. And use REX to inject the weather into fsx.
