Vsync and should I use Shader tweak ?

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I had a problem with Vsync. After search many topic and I found a tweak that about Vsync. I set my frame (30)in fsx and I set 1/2 refresh rate nvidia side. But this time my frame rate goes down. Other times when I set the frame nvidia and unlimited fsx side. I got more FPS than other ,but this time I have vysnc issue. Is there any other tweak about it if I miss it ?

Other thing that should I use bojote's "sha3mod" tweak ?

Don't set fps limit in FSX, but in nvidia inspector, otherwise your framerate will go down as you said.

1/2 sync works well with your frames locked at 30.

You must however make sure your monitor refresh rate is 60hz, and that you can easily get to 30fps in all scenarios.

If the sim is unable to reach 30fps but you still have your sync on, it will make it worse.

You can try this:

I use FSX inside 59 FPS and Nvidea inspector Force Vsync ON !

Only for fullscreen use: set ForceFullScreenVSync=1 in FSX.cfg

Hi guys;

I tired some combination and I founded for my computer best result.

I fixed FPS in FSX 30 (Because if I fixed in the Nvidia side , Vsync not working as other wise).

I set Force On nvidia side ( If I set 1/2 Refresh rate I get 4-5 less FPS than other and Fps is floating. But When I choose Force on , my FPS is stable at 29.9 or 29.8).

Thanks for your hand.
