February 7, 201412 yr Hi .... I am trying to setup Opus Live Camera in P3D, but the keys that i'm assigning dont work. I can setup the new camera views ok, but cant seem to change view with a key press. I have disabled all the assigned keys in P3D and use FSUIPC Any suggestions would be welcome many Thanks
February 7, 201412 yr Commercial Member There are certain key sequences that cannot be used either because they are already assigned elsewhere or simply because they are not available and the sim will not issue events for them. I believe there is mention of them in the LC manual which also explains how some key sequences must be specified with regard to the Num Lock. If a key is accepted then its event will be displayed in the Spy window after it has been defined to the sim. Stephen Keyboard events do not appear in Spy whilst editing cameras, only after they have been saved and edit mode is exited. If they are not displayed then the joystick or button is invalid, either not registered within FSX/P3D, already assigned elsewhere (i.e. FSX/P3D, 3rd party add-on etc), or just an illegal entry. Each keyboard assignment may consist of a combination of up to two modifier keys (Alt, Ctrl, or Shift) with a normal keyboard key. The entry is not case sensitive. The numeric pad keys 0 to 9 can be used but they must be assigned with the Num Lock ON (for recognition), and used with the Num Lock OFF within FSX/P3D. This is a quirk of the simulator and not the OpusFSX software. N.B. The Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, Left, Right, Up, and Down keys cannot be assigned to camera views. http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi/opusfsx_live_camera2.htm#_Toc342979932 Cheryl
February 7, 201412 yr Author It was the Num_Lock, missed that part in the documents and now it works great. What I cant figure out now is how to 'smooth' transition between each view. Many thanks
February 7, 201412 yr Commercial Member In the Cameras dialog, select your camera view, adjust the Camera Transition Speed (0=Instant, 100=Slow) to the speed you wish the view to transition, then click Save All Cameras or the OK button. We will also be adding further view transition options this year to give control or select different transition types (linear, accelerated start/end etc.) along with possibly some creative panning shots.
