Now with P3Dv2.1 out I prefer to fly in full screen mode using Opus weather. When I call up the weather in full screen mode the weather dialogue box is oversized and obstructs the view with no way to resize it. In windowed mode this is not the case. Is there any way to shrink the size of the weather dialogue box in full screen mode?

We don't have any control over the size of the window or text size so you will either have to resize manually (I seem to remember there is a resize point in the bottom corner) or undock the window and move to a different monitor.

There is no control over these menu windows, the position, size and font is controlled by the P3D code just as in FSX. Unfortunately for some insane reason LM decided to not only dispense with the very useful transparent docked mode, making it opaque, and also changed the font used in FSX, choosing an insanely large font for the title line.

Best ask LM if they can change this in the future and revert back to a smaller title font and make the docked menu windows transparent again.

Hi John

Later in the year when we release OpusFSI we plan to provide alternatives for the 'on screen' weather reports allowing them to be displayed 'off screen' on either the server or a networked client system. In which case you won't have to use the opaque and large font P3D menu windows any more.
