Have had to reformat my HD after fine-tuning my FSX system since 2010 and I"m wondering which add-ons I should reload and which I should forget.  Just before the computer t.a.p. (took a poop) I was having some elevation problems between some ORBX scenery (alaska) and some of my previous add ons.  What I had installed was the following:

 

• FS Genesis Mesh
• Ultimate Terrain X (UTX)
• Ultimate Alaska
• Ground Environment X (GEX)
• Real Environment Extreme Overdrive
• All ORBX North America scenery areas and many individual airports
• Vancouver
• Glacier Bay
• Tongas Fiords
• Plan G
• Etc.

Any others you would recommend?

You may find the reinstall sorts things out and that you can have it all installed. I was having graphics glitches in flight, in the menu, at some airports where bits of scenery were missing, son in mid-January I bit the bullet and reinstalled everything. Now I've no problems at all, plus the menu would often lock up or take up to 20 minutes to choose weather, plane, location etc. That's all fixed too.
