February 16, 201412 yr In my last two flights I have received this message and been unable to turn it off. The non-normal checklist is unhelpful and switching the right engine bleed switch off and then on does not remove the message. I can, of course, fly with the message present as the opposite side supplies sufficient bleed air. Can anyone tell me how to correct for this message, please? February 16, 201412 yr Check the failures pages in the fmc to see if there is an active failure maybe based on lack of maintenance René Pedersen
February 16, 201412 yr Author Hi Rene, You are absolutely right! Failed items are R ENG PRSOV VALVE and NOSE TIRE BALANCE. Now cleared both. Many thanks, Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
February 18, 201412 yr Hi Rene, You are absolutely right! Failed items are R ENG PRSOV VALVE and NOSE TIRE BALANCE. Now cleared both. Many thanks, I have had these two failures multiple times, and I haven't reached the first maintaince interval (250 hours). What operational errors could be causing frequent failures of these two items. The ENG PRSOV VALVE failures seem way too frequent for an engine that is ETOPS certified, so I feel like I must be doing something wrong. I am running the service based failures and and a factor of 5x (i.e. 1 hour of flight time in the sim equals 5 hours of aircraft wear and tear). Bill Rowe
