Greetings,

 

 

I have a question regarding one of the switches on the HSI panel.  On the right side of the HSI panel the switch marked "push crs direct" has three selections above the switch.  The three positions are marked PRE, ACT and XFR.  Through a little trial and error I believe they have something to do with the VOR but not sure exactly what their functions are.  Also, am I correct in assuming that VOR 1 is always the one selected through the GPS?

 

I really love this airplane.  It is the only one I want to fly I just wish there was more of a manual especially regarding the avionics.  Every time I fly it I stumble on something new.  Wish there was more flying and less stumbling.

Looks like I found the answer further back in this thread history. Another reason for a more detailed manual would eliminate the need to spend hours searching for information.
