Greetings, X Plane was recently updated however for some reason my X Plane failed to automatically update. This has never happened before. I am on 12.3.3r1 and when I start the program it says my version is current. Does anyone have an idea how I can force an update? Thanks in advance, cbreeze

Standard livery, checked the Carenado Dakota and the GNS in that aircraft works as it should. At the present time my Community folder is empty.

To those of you having trouble with the plane swerving left on takeoff. I was having the same issue but found that a gradual increase in power along with right rudder will keep the plane tracking straight. As the power increases, more right rudder is needed. Hope this helps.

Greetings, Just purchased the Carenado 210 for 2024 and have a few flights. For some reason I am having an issue with the GNS 530. I can't get the frequency cursor to move from the Com window to the VLOC window. You are supposed to press on the knob, but it doesn't work. Is there a click spot there I can't find? Anyone else have this problem? Also, I initially had a problem on takeoff where the plane swerves to the left. Others have reported the same issue. I found that a gradual increase in power along with right rudder gets the airplane to track straight. For the price I like it but typical Carenado. Great looking but released with flaws. It will be real nice airplane if the fix all the problems. Thanks in advance

I am still getting the crash error notice when I start XPlane. Never had this problem until the last update. Its plugin related as~xconnet12.connect Can someone please tell me how to attach my flight log file to this thread? I never had to do this before. Believe it or not this is my first ever problem after using the sim for years. I found the log location, just not sure how to attach it as requested. Thank you.

Greetings, Can someone please help me? After several years of error free X-Plane I am dealing with a problem. After several months of being away from XPlane i just logged into the sim that immediately updated to the most recent version of 12.14-r3-c8d19b62 (build 121407) Started the sim and got a message that it crashed reading X -Plane appears to have crashed due to a plugin. Please remove this plugin as a first step. If you think this is incorrect, email a screenshot of this message to support. Crash Details as_xconnect12. Problem is I do not see the plugin in the plugin list and have no idea what it is. Did anyone else have this problem or idea what is going wrong? Sim worked perfect up until the update. BTW after displaying the error message sim appears to work fine. Thanks in advance.

Good morning. Thanks to all that responded. I got my multi in a twin Comanche many moons ago. Have about 30 hrs in a Seneca. Haven’t flown a twin in a very long time and was trying to dust the cob webs off. There have been a lot of fatal accidents lately involving twin engine aircraft. Mostly involving the loss of one engine during various phases of flight. Or crashes doing VMC instruction. The instructor friend who got me my rating was killed in 1976. He was working with a student on his multi and did a VMC roll on takeoff in July of that year. That was in a twin Comanche and he was a very experienced instructor in that Comanche which he owned. Greetings, I have a pilots license and was wondering how accurate twin engine performance is modeled on xPlane. Specifically at VMC and slower. Most likely real pilots would be best to answer this question especially those with multi engine ratings. Happy New Yearr.

Greetings, I haven't used X Plane 12 a lot recently. The other day started it and updated to the most recent release 12.1.0 rc2. Graphics seem to be wonky, The first problem is that even though I enable AI aircraft, none appear when I fly. The other issue is I do a lot of flying at KSMO which is Santa Monica airport in Calif. When I take off headed west over the ocean, the beach and shorelines are loaded with trees that should not be there. This is not normal. I never had a problem with AI aircraft before or trees where they absolutely should not be, Can somebody please give me an idea as to what might be going on? Thank you in advance.

Just bought both versions and took a quick flight. OMG!!!!!! , probably the best release for any flight simulator. Well worth the price.
