Came across some interesting comments on FB: “Well, I got this plane and.... I like it.  I actually dislike the real thing, mostly due to being a mechanic on three P-210s and to say everything

Wow.... impressive new features for Carenado!

It is a very nice airplane, but like other Carenado releases, it has some avionics bugs.. which may or may not be fixed..

Their record is spotty..

I activated the TDS GTN 750/650 and found that the VOR2 gauge in the airplane does not switch GPS/VLOC when the GTN650 switches.  It just stays in whatever mode it happens to be in..  Not good.  See the screenshot below.

Thank you for being an early adopter and sharing your experience! That’s very disappointing especially since IFR flying is essential for a plane flying to altitudes above 10,000 feet. Let’s hope they fix it, but I’ll put this one into the wait and see category before purchasing.

are the Garmins still over-exposed bright at midnight like in their Cessna 404 Titan?

very nice.

Worth a punt of anyone’s money at that price.

Not sure what you call this:  (but the panel lights at present switch on and off with the NAV lights..)

Bert-

I am a Richard L Collins fan- and may end up purchasing this. as scared of Carenado's record as I am.  Please keep in touch when you do any of your usual magic.

Not sure what I can do.. other than submitting bug reports.. 😉  It flies OK, and the sounds are nice.. But given the choice, I think I would hop in the F33 Bonanza for the next cross country flight.. at least for now..

Yeah- the biggest reason I detest the Marketplace offerings.... ah well... good to hear from you mate.  Be well!

I think that I'll take the plunge on the F33, roll the dice.

It's fine in this plane.  The wx radar blue text/arcs is a little bright but nothing like your pic.

@Bert Pieke

The LPV GP is hidden too far up like the F33.  It does eventually come down though when you establish on the GP.  Can you fix this on your end?

Also some totally obvious bugs hehe -

***the avionics stack is is the wrong spot and the GTNxi's overlap...sigh - not sure how they missed this one.

***The EDM 800 CHT/EGT readouts bounce around like crazy.  I don't recall the real one doing that in flight with cruise power set.

(video in link) https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/mgn5o4ieplngtpo09hvwb/edm800C210.mp4?rlkey=ul36xegusp52vzqnxx6nqil2b&st=kvo72hnk&dl=0

***The left flood light knob doesn't seem to do anything.  The only way to turn on flood lamps is to press L (when using 2020 key commands preset).  The right knob does work.

Along those same lines I don't observe any instrument cluster lighting (the posts are there you can see, but no light on the main panel gauges).

I will be emailing Carenado but I want to see if there are any other bugs.
