    Just an update. Did a 1.5 hour 747 flight….not a single darn stutter.

    Well I got a low end I7 7 series with a 1070 and yes….much smoother than before. Tested the 747 and noticeably improved.

    it seems the beta feature is available after you select an airport to track.

    Well, I will be trying it even at those prices. Even if it's just for one month, I want to see just how far our hobby has come. Besides, my wife has zero hesitation spending that on a regular basis.

    windshield anti-ice. Takes bleed air off the engines and blows it on the windshield. Wild, eh? On a citation I remember it being loud too. That sound feature would be an amazing add on the Lear :)

    Yes it is a fantastic upgrade to MSFS. But be careful around here, it ain't pmdg or a2a it ain't #%!$.

    The infamous Beechjet, which was originally a Mitsubishi design, had the same roll control strategy.

    the visual icing effects currently in MSFS can be described as theatrical at best. I've had the displeasure of collecting ice in a variety of airplanes, of which none looked like how MSFS portrays icing. I understand MSFS does include the aerodynamic effects, which is nice, but yes...it seems the visual icing model is the same whether the aircraft is stationary on the ground or in flight.

    Very good "onboarding" or introduction to the plane at the launch. Flys heavy just like a piper.

    No guarantee that all the SU14 updates will be in the beta at launch, right? Sometimes features are delayed within the beta if I remember correctly.

    that airspeed gauge makes my head hurt! but oh yeah...can't wait to try it.

    KPIE is and has been incorrect in FSX and MSFS for years. Somehow those nav data updates don't include airport layouts.

    I wouldn't count on anything too elaborate or significant. Maybe an old rare plane for free or neat regional airport? Possible a small simulator feature?

    If I were a betting man I'd say the next ATC will use some cloud AI logic system. I think that's why they would have to improve that...no sense all the effort 2 years ago just to remake it for 2024. Imagine there will be some impressive back-end processing.

    Fingers crossed "seasons" means a whole lot more than just tree colors. Would love to see cold crisp blue skies and white thick summer air.

    Maybe just maybe all of those bug fixes will be in MS2024.....and a whole bunch of new ones 😂😂😂
