plan g3 and P3Dv2.1problem

Featured Replies

Dear All,

I've just installed plan G3 on my P3D computer. After pointing to my P3D folder, I've ran the database tool. After a short while, the Data/display P3D data comes available and after clicking on it ,I can see the NAV data on the map. Yet the other menu options (apart from First/Data) aren't available and can't really start using plan g.

Any idea what I am doing wrong ?

Kind Regards

Did you also set the path to the scenery.cfg? 'FSX Program' needs to be directed to your P3D folder and 'FSX Scenery.cfg' needs to be directed to C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2

Hi Jeroen,

Thanks for the quick reply !!

It's now woooorking . Many thanks Jeroen !!!!

Best

You're very welcome! ^_^

Hello Jeroen--how do you set the path?  is this done from the Plan G data base window or from somewhere else?  Thank you.

Jay

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

Go to the Data menu, click on the Build Navigation Database button and on the screen that will open up there is a button called Settings: click on that and you will be able to set the paths. You only need to set the two paths I posted earlier. After doing so and getting back to the Build Navigation Database screen, tick Build FSX Database and click on OK. That's it!
