Concorde Supersonic Sound Package with FSLabs Concorde-X

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I've posted this on the FSLabs Concorde-X Support Forum as well -

I recently discovered a nice sound set complete with various cabin announcements, created by Adam Murphy & Jesse Casserly (skyhigh audio simulations - www.skyhighflightsim.webs.com - you can get it here: http://www.mediafire...ONCSOUNDS.zip  )

This package works without any issues on the freeware Concorde for FSX by Libardo Guzman, but when I call up the cabin announcement panel in the Concorde X, I get the following error -

Config file not found - C:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR x\SOUND\CONCORDE\SOUND.INI

Using C:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\SIMOBJECTS\AIRPLANES\FSLABS_CONCORDEX\PANEL.CPT.1920\DSD_FSX_XML_SOUND.INI

The path to the sound.ini file is correct on my system (you have to install the concorde sounds into the \Sound folder in FSX, as well as doing additional folder installs & panel.cfg editing).

Has enyone else used this sound package, and if so, did you find a solution to the error mentioned above?  I'd REALLY like to be able to use the cabin announcements, if possible!

Thanks,

Jim
