CSS B737-300&400 to be released soon
@sd_flyer it should be in this path.... C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2024 (or MSFS2020), then you'll see the plane's folder.

FF 757 v2 Professional... a quirk with NavData update...
Hi - have you tried a manual download of that file from naviagraph and a manual install of it into the GNS 430 folder? I always use that method, and so far, so good.

JustFlight does it again... F28 V2.2 soon
Hi - I have v2.0 through Contrail, but don't see how to update to 2.2? It's a free update, right?

New Cessna 525 Torquesim
Hi - posted in their forum.... Hi - nice plane, but VR performance is very bad, about the worst, if not the worst of all my addon aircraft. I'm using the latest XP12 release (12/24/24) and your latest 1.0.2 version also released 12/24/24. Quest 3 with airlink is an absolute no-go, and plugged in w/link cable is still very bad. My machine specs: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF 3.00 GHz, 64.0 GB RAM, Win11 home 12H2 build, and RTX 4070 GPU w/11 GB VRAM (I think that's the VRAM count) HDR is off. Would replacing my GPU with a 4080 (or even a 4090) help performance? My XP settings are all "average"/mid range for VR performance sake. Is anyone else experiencing such bad VR performance? (I installed the 4K textures, NOT the 8K ones).

GTN states 'rebooting' and never turns on
Hi - I just found a possible solution to the "rebooting" problem in both XP11 and XP12. In the .ini file, look for PowerSource = xxxx. If it says AUTO, change it to AVIONICS_BUS so it reads PowerSource = AVIONICS_BUS. If there is no line for this, just put it in the global settings (the top part) for [GTN_750_1] and [GTN_750_2]. I have just tested this in the AFL King Air 350 for both platforms, and it works - both GTNs are powered by the avionics bus switch, and the rebooting message is gone.

QW B757 not working in P3D v3.3.5.17625
Hi All, After migrating from P3D v3.2 (where the gauges worked fine) to v3.3.5.17625, I loaded the plane but the LCDs had an error message, saying the gauge couldn't be loaded. I used the most recent QW757 installer when I installed it into v3.2 originally. I also updated the FSDT addon manager, which prompted for the latest QW757 gauge, to which I answered Yes.... Is anyone else having this problem with this version in this latest version of P3D? I posted this in the QW forums earlier this week, but nobody has responded. Thanks, Jim

Windows 7 or 10?
Hi - there's a little utility called GWX Control Panel that allows you to block and/or remove Win10 updates, and prevent MS from ramming it down your throat. It's worked great for me on my two FS systems (Win7 home and Win7 pro). When you install it and run it, make sure you select it to run in monitor mode (checkboxes/button-bars to select options). MS will still try to invade your system, but when it happens, the blue-square with the white 10 in it on the task bar notification area flashes with a red circle and a white exclamation point - just open it up and set everything back to "Enable" (reverse logic - if the button says Disable, it's enabled to allow W10 updates....think I got that right....I'm currently on the other side of the country from my systems). Give it a look & best of luck, Jim

Thinking of a DC-9......Maddog or SkySim's?
Hi - SkySim DC-9 liveries have to be downloaded from their website. There are a few others in the AVSIM library, I believe. Unfortunately for me, I could not get the Coolsky DC-9 to work in P3D v3.2, so I went with the SkySim one....not as thorough as the Coolsky one, but it will have to do in P3D unless/until they update theirs to work in that sim. Fortunately, it works great in FSX-SE, so I can still fly it when I want, as I have both sims installed. The Leonardo Maddog works in FSX-SE, but not in P3D (at least for me). Hope this helps... Jim

April 30 2016: Udate mechanism is broken!
Hi Maarten, Hmmmm...just re-downloaded and reinstalled latest version from your link above, and all is well now....don't know what happened before (yes, I do have .net 4.6.1). Everything seems ok now. Thanks, Jim

April 30 2016: Udate mechanism is broken!
Hi Maarten, I received your email this morning, downloaded and installed the file. Once done, it would not start up - no indications in Event Viewer, and only an instant recognition in Task Manager before disappearing. So, I uninstalled the latest version (today's), and reinstalled a previous version, and it's working as it should. So, for whatever reason, the latest version will not run on my system (yes, it's set to run as admin, as is everything on my W7-64 system). Thanks for your work, Jim

Wide View Aspect Ratio ?
For those of us using a triple monitor setup with NVidia surround (or the AMD surround option, the name of which escapes me at the moment) enabled, having that option selected allows zooming out in VC view to be able to see the entire panel. Without it selected, the zoom is very limited, not allowing one to zoom out sufficiently to see the entire panel. One disadvantage of selecting it is the peripheral distortion on the two side monitors, though.

New community user mods almost ready for show time - hold on to your socks.
Hi Caribpilot, 1. Yes, see Janek's post #22's pic 2. Don't know, as this is strictly for the CJ2. There is another thread concerning the Hawker in this CJ2 forum...I don't have the Hawker.

Hello Gareth, Yes, if you buy the CJ2 from Carenado now, you will get the 1.1 version. For The Mod Squad's updates and how to get them (still a work in progress), see the thread two threads below this one about the release, beginning with the word SHOWTIME....download link from Raymar is posted at the beginning of the thread, complete with a readme instructions file. Note that you MUST have the Flight1 GTN750 for this mod, either in P3D or FSX(-SE), which are two separate purchases from the Flight1 website. Also, keep an eye on the SHOWTIME thread, as a stop-gap autopilot fix has also been posted on the last page of the thread, currently page 4. It's a nice plane to begin with, and with these mods, it's great! Jim

Thinking of getting this now that I have the GTN750...
Hi Flapsdown - yes, I know, and I've been participating in that for the CJ2. I went ahead and bought the GTN750 for FSX(-SE) as well, and am using Bert's 750 mod for the S550....I also have Janek's ISG mods for it. Hi Zoran - because there are numerous aircraft and some sceneries for FSX(-SE) that will not work in P3D without using the Estonia Migration Tool, which I don't want to use. Some aircraft won't even work with the EMT in P3D.

CitationJet CJ2 - New Ver (1.1) - Looks like a good fix list
Found the AP click spot toggle code: place in [vcockpit02] - gauge03=CJ2525ACAR!Toggle10130, 476, 20, 48, 48

CitationJet CJ2 - New Ver (1.1) - Looks like a good fix list
Dutch1 - just redownload it from your Carenado account.

CitationJet CJ2 - New Ver (1.1) - Looks like a good fix list
Can't post a pic from my dropbox of the external view with every choice selected, but in P3D v3.2 I see everything except chocks and aft baggage door open. I also reapplied Kobronicus' AT light fix, and it works fine as it did before Carenado's update. I used their latest .CAB file and overwrote their gauge_anum_gb.xml file with his.

CitationJet CJ2 - New Ver (1.1) - Looks like a good fix list
Hi Ray, So the TA lights are supposed to go out ONLY when reaching 1.25%...anything below that level, they're supposed to show, correct? Well, they still didn't get it right at all in FSX-SE - same issue I had before of the TA lights NEVER lighting up. Kabronicus' annun panel popup click spot still doesn't show in FSX-SE, but does show/work in P3D. I can open its popup window in FSX via the menu as before, but it would be nice to call it from the click spot. Yes, the CJ2AUX.CAB gauge is in the gauges folder, as before. What about the click spot popup for the AP? Where is that? I didn't check about the external stuff you show above....looks like I'll (we'll all) have to re-apply Kabronicus' TA fix for it to work properly (but as I said in a previous post and above, it never worked at all in FSX-SE, even after applying his fix - they NEVER lit up!) Why, oh why can't they get things right?!

CitationJet CJ2 - New Ver (1.1) - Looks like a good fix list
For P3D v3.2 (all looks good so far...I haven't flown her yet): 1. TA fix by Kabronicus is no longer needed, as Carenado fixed it. 2. I re-applied his Annun popup panel (nice to have that) 3. I reapplied Burt's GTN750 Mod 4. I'd like to have the autopilot popup button again....where is it (besides the view-instrument panel menu option)? Off to take a look at the FSX-SE version (still reinstalled "vanilla")....will report back...

Thinking of getting this now that I have the GTN750...
Yeah, I'm leaning more towards Bert's mod for FSX-SE, as it's so good for P3D....but it requires shelling out another $50 for the GTN750 for FSX-SE....

Thinking of getting this now that I have the GTN750...
Hi Ramon, Thanks for replying. I pulled the trigger on it...have it installed in both P3D and FSX-SE....loads up fine in both...haven't flown it yet. Yes, I know the GTN750 is a separate purchase for FSX/SE from the P3D version. I am waiting to hear from Bert and Janek for their respective mods to the jet.... Thanks, Jim

Thinking of getting this now that I have the GTN750...
Hi All, Having recently purchased the F1 GTN750, I'm now thinking of getting this airplane (with mods by The Mod Squad )..... Can anyone confirm that it works without issues in P3D v3.2 and FSX-SE? (My FSX-SE is standalone, so all refs are to FSX on my system). Thanks in advance, Jim

OK, thanks Ray! Jim

Hi Ramon, OK, no problem now that I understand what was going on....it would be cool if you could add a popup radio panel, as you did with the autopilot and annunciator panels, though  Thanks, Jim
