CSS B737-300&400 to be released soon

Featured Replies

Hello, Captains!

As you @everyone remember, we've been promising you the release of the 737-300 and 737-400 for a while now. Well, we're almost there. But first, I wanted to share some important news.

First, we'd like to remind you of our new pricing policy. Now, each aircraft variant (737-300, 737-400, and 737-500) will be able to be purchased separately for $45. They will be slightly more expensive in our partner stores. In addition to the CSS Launcher and SimMarket, our products will also become available in the Aerosoft, Contrail, and ORBX stores. The temporary license will only be available through our Launcher. For owners of the $120 permanent license, as promised, the 737-300 and 737-400 will be available immediately upon release at no additional cost.

Today, we're pleased to introduce our brand-new website at css.aero. It's much more user-friendly, easier to navigate, and easier to search, and most importantly, it features a new "Knowledge Base" section, where we've compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions and which will be regularly updated.

Perhaps the most anticipated news is the sound pack rework. We've mentioned several times that "A Well-Known Company" is working with us on this project. And now we're ready to reveal the company's name: the Immersive Audio sound pack is currently in testing and debugging. The expected release date is within the next month. Naturally, all of our users will receive it for free, as it will be a part of the CSS 737 Classic.

Finally, I'd like to say that the 737-300 and 737-400 will be released in the next few days. In the meantime, we invite you to enjoy the official pre-release trailer.

Thank you for joining us!

  • MPL changed the title to CSS B737-300&400 to be released soon

Really stoked especially with the IA partnership, he did fantastic on the maddog so no concerns here. Now let’s see if CSS can squash the bugs and I can relive my Wilco days proper.

I wanna see someone put this thing throught its paces before Im giving them any of my money.

The streams I saw when it was released where just awful.

What was awful about it..? Just wondering

At first, it didn't look too good but it has been improving slowly but steadily, with price changes and new models i think it will get even better. Atleast that's only B737CL we have at the moment and no new ones at sight.

More or less everything you expected to be there was there, it was just rife with bugs. It also got in the way of enjoying the more cooler features like the cabin switches shaking in different direction as you taxiied, the performance papers, window shades etc etc. cause you were busy messing about with the FMS trying to get it to do what it says it should be doing.

Developer seems reluctant to provide standard views (FMC, EFB, overhead panel and etc) like Fenix, PMDG, Inbuild and other developers have. When I asked them about view they said setup your own. This tells me a lot about their mentality.

Sure you can setup that idea in your head about their mentality. I just think on the list of priorities it's rather low considering the state of the aircraft. On the otherhand, when I suggested to them simbrief imports and how it could be faithful to the classics, the next updates included simbrief imports. Or how everyone had been asking for better simvar usage and the following update contained expanded simvar usage.

I understand feeling slighted by being told to setup your own camera views but I genuinely think CSS has more important things to be worry about right now. I imagine maybe with the V2 model they've been working on, that can be looked at.

Well, the change in pricing model is MOST welcome! 👍

I never, ever would’ve bought into the $120 package.

Now, if it gets to where it needs to be, then I’ll consider it.

Good afternoon @everyone !

alright, hold your horses, this isn't it just yet

In anticipation for whatever might be coming very soon, we have published Updates for the CSS 737-500 and the CSS Launcher.

Please make sure that your CSS Launcher is on ver. 2.0.41, and your CSS 737-500 (if you have one) is on ver. 1.9.38.

As always, we recommend a complete reinstall of the airplane, including deletion of the airplane's WASM folders to make sure everything works properly once the green light is out.

Wilco Classics. I still remember I bought the CD for FS9.

DA B760M PRO4 | i5-13400F | RTX 3060 12 GB | G.Skills Ripjaws 32GB | MSI MAG A550BN | Ace Power 1 TB NVMe  | Cooler Master Hyper 212

Personally, I would love a good 737 Classic.

But to be able to look at all the new quality improvements, I'd need to get past the fact that the last 2 times I tried this (with the monthly subscription), there were still no standard key assignments working for any of the autopilot functions.

Has that been addressed yet? Clearly I don't mean every function, as there is no standard key assignment for VNAV for example. But as a minimum, to enjoy an aircraft, I need the heading bug, AP Master, altitude +/- and vertical speed, binded to the MSFS assignments.

Does this product offer this now @MPL ?

How do you delete airplane WASM folder?

@sd_flyer it should be in this path....

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2024 (or MSFS2020), then you'll see the plane's folder.
