March 4, 201412 yr Is there a guideline as to how far to skip ahead in the PF menu? I tried skipping through some time options and eventually got to zero and by then all of the FO responses were dead. Is there a way to go back in time that will restore the FO response? What happens if I choose "No" for the option to skip departure options? As an example, I skipped to zero, taxied out and made the takeoff anyway and the FO was useless so I ended the flight out over the Mojave Desert. The only thing I could do was make PA announcements. I don't really need to take 45 minutes to get ready to fly this thing. But I like having the FO run checklists for me. Eric Parker
