Just back to FSX and installed OPUS. Was curious as to improvements from the 3.1 version I currently have.

Anyone have a list. I was out on the site but could not find a list.

Wow, where to start. You can either check our Announcements topic in our SimForums or examine the OpusFSX_Realease_Notes text file in Notebook after upgrading. Remember to uninstall before upgrading and after upgrading set all defaults in all weather related dialogs. I would recommend you upgrade to the latest beta which will become the latest release version very soon. If you have FSUIPC4 installed I would recommend you enable DWC Dynamic Wind Control.

I should have clarified that DWC is a new OpusFSX function and not an FSUIPC4 function. DWC uses the FSUIPC4 interface instead of SimConnect to affect the control.

"Where to start" I would assume means there were many changes. Maybe if I rephrase the question it might make it easier,

I am not really interested in bug fixes.

 

1. Was there any new functionality programmed into any of the versions above the 3.1.xx?

2. Were there any areas that were optimized generally speaking i.e. Weather, Cameras etc.

The majority of it is new functionality with a small amount of bug fixes. For a general overview read our website's front page news section.
