March 16, 201412 yr Hello, the following processor: http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-4770K-Quad-Core-Processor-BX80646I74770K/dp/B00CO8TBQ0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394932303&sr=8-1&keywords=intel+core+i7+4770k says that the max turbo frequency is 3.9 does that mean I can not overclock it to 4.0 plus?
March 16, 201412 yr No. The 'K' designator at the end of 4770 says whether you can overclock it or not. A 4770K can be overclocked; a 4770 cannot be fully overclocked.
