March 17, 201412 yr Hello: A few uf us ASN users are having issues with black flashes in high level clouds when using SGSS above 2x. Not using SGSS or turning down to 2x makes other things appear jittery. Can we get an option in the Fixer cloud shader to reduce or discard Sparse Grid Super Sampling on the clouds in the next release?? I notice that there is already and option for Super-Sampling AA (SSAA). Thanks, Scott
March 17, 201412 yr Commercial Member sorry not possible to control that. Assuming its like the rain issue (a delay on texture load) I could detect that and not display the cloud. My FSX Analysis Blog
March 17, 201412 yr Author Thanks for your reply.. hmmm.. not displaying might be a good option, as not all of the upper level clouds have issues... Have a High Level Cloud discard option for ASN users??? BTW - You have done a really good job with the fixer... I noticed that in the Fixer 2.0 the Aerosoft airport vehicles at night have textures now :-) AND the lights at FSDT KLAS no longer have those weird and extraneous structures over the runway/taxi-way lights at NIGHT!!!!
