FSX Visibility Limitations

Featured Replies

Hi,

When I used FS2004/FS9, I know Pete Dowson's FSUIPC had options to set the maximum visibility at different altitudes.

After installing FSUIPC on FSX, I don't see these options and have had a look around - it seems it's not offered in FSX. I currently use OPUS FX for my WX engine and was wondering if there are any settings (inside or outside of OPUS) that allowed me to set maximum visibility to enhance realism.

This may not be helpful to you, apologies, but ActiveSky Next does provide settings to control visibility both down low and up high.

Hello thank you for your reply.

I have looked at ActiveSky, though I may purchase this as a last resort, if nobody has any other ways of implementing such settings.
