News Item: Ant's Airplanes T-28A for FSX and P3D V2.x

 

Ant's Airplanes is pleased to announce completion of the T-28 Trojan lineup of aircraft with the release of the T-28A Trojan. Even better news is that this aircraft is free to enjoy by anyone (the aircraft is released as donationware and users are encouraged to make a donation to their favourite flight sim website if they enjoy the T-28A)

 

The T-28A was used by the US Air Force in the 1950's as a primary trainer aircraft. It had a small 7 cylinder 800 HP engine. Later variants were used by the US Navy (the T-28B/C) and these featured a much more powerful 9 cylinder 1425 HP engine. The T-28D was later used in counter insurgency efforts in various countries during the '60s and '70s. The T-28D models were originally T-28A aircraft modified to fit the larger 1425 HP engine.

 

This model has specific version for both FSX and P3D V2.x and is a highly detailed recreation of the original aircraft. P3D V1.4 or earlier users can install the FSX version into P3D.

Animation Manager to handle animations, preferences, fuel and payload and checklists

Attack version which features 2 weapons stations with launchable rockets and bombs or gun pods

 

This model will now also serve as a demo version for the payware T-28B/C and T-28D versions available from www.antsairplanes.com. These models have also been updated to versions 1.11 (T-28B/C) and 2.1 (T-28D). These updates include new improved sounds set, improved flight dynamics and P3D V2.x specific versions.
