    Had this happen to me recently.
     
    I edited the fsx.cfg to have HideInfoText=1 and changed some other things.
     
    Make sure you have:
    HideMenuNormal=1
     
    in the [Main] section
     
    in your fsx.cfg. I just changed that from 0 to 1 and it fixed it up for me.

    Noticed that yesterday too (my word some people have spent a heck of a lot of money on this hobby).
