PMDG MD-11 crashes FSX when Autoland engaged

Featured Replies

I've been flying the MD-11 on a XP environment with no issues.  I reloaded FSX on a win 7/64 bit unit with 8 GB mem and intel duo core 2,5 ghz CPU coupled with Asus Radeon Hd6450SL 2 GB mem.

Alll works fine until it is time to land. First time this happened, ILS intercept established and second view  engaged on 2nd monitor. Tonight, again the plane had intercepted ILS but this time I tried to open a second window then FSX crashed with a fatal error. I will try the autoland again but this time will use 1 monitor only. If it crashes again, then I have an issue.

Has this happened to anyone else and if you were able to fix this, can you please share what you did.

Thanks

It happened to me on Decent . It does this if there is something big runing in the background or when u update drives

it will go away just let the drives settle in

hop this helps
