PMDG MD-11 crashes FSX when Autoland engaged
I've been flying the MD-11 on a XP environment with no issues. I reloaded FSX on a win 7/64 bit unit with 8 GB mem and intel duo core 2,5 ghz CPU coupled with Asus Radeon Hd6450SL 2 GB mem. Alll works fine until it is time to land. First time this happened, ILS intercept established and second view engaged on 2nd monitor. Tonight, again the plane had intercepted ILS but this time I tried to open a second window then FSX crashed with a fatal error. I will try the autoland again but this time will use 1 monitor only. If it crashes again, then I have an issue. Has this happened to anyone else and if you were able to fix this, can you please share what you did. Thanks

does my unit meet the minimum requirement to use PMDG 777
Felix Thank you for the suggestion. I am not sure if I can play around with the clock speed of my processor but will try that tonight. Alpha Floor: before you buy that Graphics card, see the reply from Ryan of PMDG: FSX is dependent on CPU power not the GPU. Regards to all Rey

Ryan: Thank you for your reply. This simulator will just have to wait till I upgrade my CPU. Too bad PMDG does not have a limited trial model that people can test on their units Regards to all Rey

PMDG MD-11 Flaps
Good day to all. Where is this option found? I don't remember setting this on when i first installed the MD-11. I thought I was having program issues so I uninstalled FSX and re-installed including SP1 and SP2. After re-installing the MD-11 and Boeing 747, the flaps, spoilers and wheels do not function. Other than setting this option on, is there anything else that must be turned on? Thanks
