At some point  Wednesday and Thursday, the 26th and 27th of March after 1000 EST the AVSIM Forum server will be shut down in order to replace hardware.

 

Our plan is to power down the system and replace the three questionable hard drives in the Web / Forum server. Wednesday and Thursday at noon on those the system will be powered down and a disk will be replaced. The downtime on each day should be less than an hour. On Thursday, we will also expand the array to include 2 more new disks to increase our capacity and allow us to go to a RAID configuration that will allow any two disks to fail and we will still maintain operation.
