Assigning keys to autopilot speed, hdg, altitude

Recommended Posts

Hey there,

First I have to appologize for posting this question. It must have been discussed a thousand times already but I was not able to find it.

I am looking for a way to assign keys to set, in- or decrease the speed, altitude and heading in the mcp of my PMDG777.  Is there a chance to have for example something like shift+a+scroll for in- and decreasing the altitude and shift+s+scroll for in- and decreasing the speed?

What I have tried earlier was to set the mcp on my second lower screen so I could set it without switching views. But that would not work in full screen mode :-(

I am also open to buy a cheap panel that does the job but i think I would have to deal with fsuipc then, what I am afraid of.

Thanks for any hint
Gabriel
