Is there a way to get the ATC window to only open when it's relevant to my plane?

Featured Replies

Looks like the options are either that the ATC window is always on or always off... Is there a way to get the window to pop up only when the message from the controller is for me?

Honestly, thats a really good question.__Josh

I believe you will get most of what you want if you uncheck "show ATC text" and check "auto-open ATC window" on the Settings-ATC dialog box. Whilst this doen't show an ATC window when a message is directed to you, it does pop up the expected response window for you to reply. If you did not hear the message that was sent, press F10 until you get the radio window and you can see the last few things that ATC said to you, and most importantly the message you are expected to respond to.Gary
