February 11, 200521 yr Here is the logfile for when I use the Black Viper "Gaming Services Tweak Profile" which is my usual profile for running FS2004. Incidently, I get the same (freeze) results with the default and gaming profile. Also, the problem was there before I tweaked the services; problem is not helped or hurt by service tweaks.----------------------------------------Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.0Scan saved at 8:05:34 AM, on 2/11/2005Platform: Windows XP SP1 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2800.1106)Running processes:C:WINDOWSSystem32smss.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32winlogon.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32services.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32lsass.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32svchost.exeC:WINDOWSSystem32svchost.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32spoolsv.exeC:WINDOWSExplorer.EXEC:WINDOWSSystem32CTHELPER.EXEC:Documents and SettingsC&LLocal SettingsTempTemporary Directory 1 for hijackthis.zipHijackThis.exeO2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - C:Program FilesSpybot - Search & DestroySDHelper.dllO3 - Toolbar: &Radio - {8E718888-423F-11D2-876E-00A0C9082467} - C:WINDOWSSystem32msdxm.ocxO4 - HKLM..Run: [LtcyCfgApply] "D:DATATITAN_InstallPCI_LatencyLtcyCfg.exe" /aO4 - HKLM..Run: [CTHelper] CTHELPER.EXEO4 - HKLM..Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:WINDOWSSystem32NvCpl.dll,NvStartupO4 - HKLM..Run: [NvMediaCenter] RUNDLL32.EXE C:WINDOWSSystem32NvMcTray.dll,NvTaskbarInitO4 - HKLM..Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /installO8 - Extra context menu item: E&xport to Microsoft Excel - res://C:PROGRA~1MICROS~2OFFICE11EXCEL.EXE/3000O9 - Extra button: Research - {92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263} - C:PROGRA~1MICROS~2OFFICE11REFIEBAR.DLLO23 - Service: NVIDIA Display Driver Service - NVIDIA Corporation - C:WINDOWSSystem32nvsvc32.exeO23 - Service: Sandra Data Service - SiSoftware - C:Program FilesSiSoftwareSiSoftware Sandra Lite 2005RpcDataSrv.exeO23 - Service: Sandra Service - SiSoftware - C:Program FilesSiSoftwareSiSoftware Sandra Lite 2005RpcSandraSrv.exe---------------------------------------------------------------------What follows is the log based on the "Default" services config:Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.0Scan saved at 7:35:09 AM, on 2/11/2005Platform: Windows XP SP1 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2800.1106)Running processes:C:WINDOWSSystem32smss.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32winlogon.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32services.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32lsass.exeC:WINDOWSsystem32svchost.exeC:WINDOWSSystem32svchost.exeC:WINDOWSExplorer.EXEC:WINDOWSsystem32spoolsv.exeC:WINDOWSSystem32CTHELPER.EXEC:PROGRA~1GrisoftAVG Freeavgcc.exeC:PROGRA~1GrisoftAVG Freeavgamsvr.exeC:PROGRA~1GrisoftAVG Freeavgupsvc.exeC:WINDOWSSystem32nvsvc32.exeC:Documents and SettingsC&LLocal SettingsTempTemporary Directory 1 for hijackthis.zipHijackThis.exeO2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - C:Program FilesSpybot - Search & DestroySDHelper.dllO3 - Toolbar: &Radio - {8E718888-423F-11D2-876E-00A0C9082467} - C:WINDOWSSystem32msdxm.ocxO4 - HKLM..Run: [LtcyCfgApply] "D:DATATITAN_InstallPCI_LatencyLtcyCfg.exe" /aO4 - HKLM..Run: [CTHelper] CTHELPER.EXEO4 - HKLM..Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:WINDOWSSystem32NvCpl.dll,NvStartupO4 - HKLM..Run: [NvMediaCenter] RUNDLL32.EXE C:WINDOWSSystem32NvMcTray.dll,NvTaskbarInitO4 - HKLM..Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /installO4 - HKLM..Run: [AVG7_CC] C:PROGRA~1GrisoftAVG Freeavgcc.exe /STARTUPO8 - Extra context menu item: E&xport to Microsoft Excel - res://C:PROGRA~1MICROS~2OFFICE11EXCEL.EXE/3000O9 - Extra button: Research - {92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263} - C:PROGRA~1MICROS~2OFFICE11REFIEBAR.DLLO23 - Service: AVG7 Alert Manager Server - GRISOFT, s.r.o. - C:PROGRA~1GrisoftAVG Freeavgamsvr.exeO23 - Service: AVG7 Update Service - GRISOFT, s.r.o. - C:PROGRA~1GrisoftAVG Freeavgupsvc.exeO23 - Service: NVIDIA Display Driver Service - NVIDIA Corporation - C:WINDOWSSystem32nvsvc32.exeO23 - Service: Sandra Data Service - SiSoftware - C:Program FilesSiSoftwareSiSoftware Sandra Lite 2005RpcDataSrv.exeO23 - Service: Sandra Service - SiSoftware - C:Program FilesSiSoftwareSiSoftware Sandra Lite 2005RpcSandraSrv.exe

February 11, 200521 yr How do I access my PMs??? I saw the send icon (which I used to mail you) But... how do I get my PMs?
February 11, 200521 yr Hi there. Please bear in mind that I know nothing about computers.I notice you have Grisoft installed and that used to start up and download stuff just after I'd got myself sorted to take off from any airport. I would hear the computer grinding away and I'd be wondering what that was all about: then by minimising the screen there would be Grisoft doing it's thing and b+gg+ring the running of FS9 up. I got rid of it. Another thing I've noticed about KSEA in particular is that the frame rate slows climbing north out of the airport over Vancouver, but as soon as that's out of sight everything picks up again and even though I don't have much in the way of add-on Alaska stuff there must be something up there it doesn't really like and perhaps it's what's causing you trouble. So- does this happen everywhere you take off from after a few minutes or just KSEA?Good Luck,Andy.
