Old bios and a gtx 780ti

Hi

This may be a real dumb question, but don't want to lay out the cash if it is going to be a problem.

On a video for this card they briefly mentioned about the uefi bios that the card should have the latest bios for the mobo.

This might be a problem for me as I can't update the bios on my mobo to the latest revision because there are some files that the bios requires that I cant get.

Has anyone tried putting a gtx780ti in the Asus p8z68-v/gen3 mobo with the original bios 0301 I think it is
