I found that FSX was not performing at an acceptable level on my computer, so i decided to install fs2004.However, the installation seems to hang at 16% (it stayed there for a half-hour) even though task manager showed that the installer was responding. I am running to 32-bit version of Windows . Is there any way to fix this?

First step is to install into something like C:\Flight Simulator 9, and not the default 386 folder option offered.
