  1. Ah. Perhaps I exceeded some arbitrary limit in a single post? Thanks for doing this, and thank you for your comments!
  2. Thanks for commenting, John, appears not to be an opinion shared by the 158 bots that have also viewed the post! Appears the AVSIM Board is broken, too: some of the pictures appeared as links only when inserted as URL. Not worth the trouble it seems, especially since AVSIM stopped taking BBCode from FlickR, and FlickR doesn't offer a URL to insert. Pasting BBCode works everywhere else, and did for 17 years here, too.
  3. The strips are rugged and quite difficult to find. The PAC 750 is the right machine for the job. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54263433981_b3f9152017_4k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54263434026_1e6c14ea49_3k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54263433966_b04ada0887_3k.jpg
  4. Aaaand... it's a lovely one!
  5. What a treat to be taken through some of JanKees' extraordinary hangar collection! (That's a B-24 if I'm not mistaken)
  6. Very well done series...somehow I associate Waco with Duesenberg, they reflect a different time do they not?
  7. I just pasted the "Share" link from Flickr and the forum software automatically embedded it as per above. There's an offer while posting to "insert Image from URL", not sure what that does. I guess you have to do whatever works on your system, a little bit surprising from a site like AVSIM?
  8. So from Flickr I had edited the BBCode which contains the string below, which I didn't realise is quicker if you use "Share". It would just have been a bit easier if AVSIM in changing the way it accepted screenshots, had mentioned HOW
  9. Second only to this one 🙂
  10. Yes it took several tries to figure out deleting the leading [url= and everything after .jpg The community prevails! Nice shot BTW which helo is that?
  11. Thanks for looking, and for the comments. Thought I might point out that there is more to Tauranga Hospital than just the Medevac shed!
  12. NZA Simulations have done a good regional scenery for Tauranga, NZ. And, the HPG 145 has a series of of Missions, with appropriate animations. This one terminated at TG Hospital Success!
  13. A completely different approach to Milford Sound! These are great; extremely well done, sir.
  14. Ah OK I see I will have to learn whatever is new for AVSIM. Mods please delete the thread, thanks Also: please update your sticky post about uploading!
  15. Nice series and good looking scenery. I'm also finding the Global Trees addon adapts well in some of the back country flights on the other side of the planet!
  16. It certainly is, although not without its challenges in MSFS! Thank you for the comments, I'll post some back country shots soon, with those impossible-to-find, never mind land on, sites!
  17. Plenty of helicopters finding their way into MSFS, here's an excuse to fly the Cowansim 500 around Lake Pukaki, one of New Zealand's Southern Hydro lakes Starting at Lake Tekapo Swinging down to Twizel Looping back up along Lake Pukaki ... and dropping in to Glentanner on the western shore
  18. Afterthought: be good to see if the Dreamscenery night lighting from Marketplace works over this update!
  19. We stayed in London recently, and from our hotel on Buckingham Gate could easily stroll around to many of these famous landmarks. We jumped on a Thames ferry to Greenwich, and I can confirm there are no sandbanks around the boats! When the sim update came around I thought I would take my helicopter out of EGLC up the reverse track along the Thames, to compare. Lucky I scrolled the posts here before posting what amounts to a duplicate trip! Great minds... great series of shots, high immersion and you'll agree the update nailed it with those few proviso's. Especially agree with you on HMS Belfast, it is such an iconic fixture on the river, right next to Tower Bridge; they really should put it in I dropped ORBX EGLC into the sim, and am seeing stutters for the first time ever. Maybe there will be a post-update mod.
  20. Thanks for the tour! What a complex and extensive scenery... On balance I am wondering about the level of internal detail current in the sim sceneries. Sure it's great to see the departure boards and people (but never in convincing numbers) in the terminal, but I find I look at it all... once. Is the computing - and possibly cost - overhead worth it, long term? Any following flights start and end at the gate. Much more important in my eyes would be: is the airport train well animated? Does the scenery integrate well with the surrounds? Are the roads properly linked, does the traffic flow in a convincing fashion? All the stuff you would see flying in and out of, or maybe about, the place
  21. I upgraded from AS v6 to ASE and have no problem with what I see in the sim. Perhaps I am not as observant...
  22. Probably best to head the payware route: UTT has EC120 and S-76 AI traffic packages worldwide. Flight1's Helo Traffic package lets you easily create your own as required.
  23. Dijvid: such things are best left to ActiveSky
