Calgary Airport CYYC

Recommended Posts

One of the finest and most extended Airport sceneries from the Canadian developper 'Simaddons' is Calgary - CYYC in Alberta, Hereby my discovery tour squeezed in the max of 20 shots.

So many details. Would like to "hang out" at that airport for awhile.

I love Simaddon sceneries and bought way too many of them over the years. But, just for the record, Ralph is based in Switzerland. I am all the more indebted to him for taking care of Canada 🙂

Hi,

Oeps! Because I saw on the Simaddons-website only Canadian Airports that are available to purchase, that must then be Canadian developper(s) for these addons. Strange that an European based one or group only concentrates to Canadian Airport sceneries. Nevertheless, all very fine made and sharing them with joy 🙂

Thanks for the tour! What a complex and extensive scenery...

On balance I am wondering about the level of internal detail current in the sim sceneries.
Sure it's great to see the departure boards and people (but never in convincing numbers) in the terminal, but I find I look at it all... once.
Is the computing - and possibly cost - overhead worth it, long term?

Any following flights start and end at the gate.
Much more important in my eyes would be: is the airport train well animated? Does the scenery integrate well with the surrounds? Are the roads properly linked, does the traffic flow in a convincing fashion? All the stuff you would see flying in and out of, or maybe about, the place
