  1. Great story and pics....the DC-3 does not like a short runway, does it? Ha Ha Glad you found a friendly place to put it down. Great stuff.
  2. Amazing what you can find in MSFS. My bro-in-law and wife are travelling in Europe and were at the dawn ceremony in Villers-Bretaneux yesterday. Freezing, they said. Good effort I'd say.
  3. Nice post...I have been flying the Channel Islands lately in the Aurigny BN-2. Great place to see in MSFS and fun flying.
  4. As a tribute to the ANZAC's, I had a flight over the Australian memorial at Villers-Bretonneux, France in the Jenny. They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.
  5. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! Arrrr, matey, these be fine shots, I reckon.
  6. Misty day near Banff, Alberta.
  7. Good old Google Photos....I'll try again.
  8. Great series of shots...the Mirage is a great looking aircraft...and it's fun just to let the plane go wherever you feel like!
  9. A quick flight around the resort town of Split in Croatia. It looks quite good. POI is Starry Village Monsor.
  10. Here’s one for the history buffs…the MSFS doco for the Ford Trimotor says it was used by PanAm for their first flight to Havana from Key West in October 1927. The PanAm history site and many others say the aircraft was a Fokker F-7 Tri motor, which looks very similar, but not metal. I have found more referrences to the Fokker than the Ford. Which is true? I would like to recreate that flight and am not sure if the early NDB beacons were used on that flight as well. They were installed in Key West and Havana around that time.
  11. Well done...I will take your advice and plan some tours from your excellent airstrip!
  12. Thank you...quite an international crowd...that's the great thing about this hobby, it's world wide!
  13. Nice Aircalin ( New Caledonia ) livery for the FBW A320....perfect for a Brisbane to Noumea (NWWW) run. Aircalin runs flight from Sydney and Brisbane to New Caledonia weekly. Wish I was on this one!
  14. Outstanding stuff...would make terrific Canadian base hub in MSFS.
