Outstanding shots! Is that default scenery? It looks amazing.

Thanks Hal. It's the default scenery with the Aerosoft Lukla payware add-on.

Wonderful set of images, bernd. (Your) Lukla never disappoints. The Aerosoft Lukla Payware was a good one since the FSX days, but here, in your FS2020 captures, it really looks lovely and rugged...as it should...

(Makes up for my missed Tara Air Dornier 228 flight that was cancelled out of Kathmandu due to adverse weather ...many moons ago ...🙂...)

Thanks much for sharing...!

That shot overflying the lake is incredible!

At first I wondered if the 222 could handle being so high but it turns out Lukla is "only" 9,500 msl, and the 222 is rated up to 20,000! I don't suppose the cabin is pressurized, so hopefully the oxygen tanks are topped off if flying up to ceiling 🙂

FWIW, I've gone hiking at up to 13,000-14,000. Very easy to lose your breath, but eminently do-able for anyone who's reasonably healthy. No trees way up there, so the views can be incredible!! 🙂

p.s.: I've always loved the Airwolf livery (and this one has the "jet engine" pods modeled as on the IRL show helo)!

P_7878 and Urgent Siesta, many thanks for your kind comments. Maybe one day we will get the Carenado Do 228 in MSFS. Yes, the Airwolf livery is one of my favorites too. I always loved watching the series 🙂
