A380, Frankfurt to Singapore

Featured Replies

I know, this is not the usual plane I like to fly, but my wife and I visited Dubai last month and our mode of transportation was an Emirates A380, which we both liked a lot. Hence this flight in an A380 🙂

Thanks for viewing, I have to admit I actually enjoyed flying this beast. It's soooo different from a Ford Trimotor 😃

Great trip...nice work with the big unit! I like it too, but it kills my frame rate....better once you get up to altitude.

Why are most of the pictures zoomed out like crazy?

Is that because you have an ultra wide monitor?

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

Yes, that's the reason. I have a curved 34" monitor.

That’s really cool. I don’t know why I feel that way lol. Still cool. It doesn’t look like that when you fly does it?

No, it doesn't at all. You just sit in front of a big monitor and enjoy the superb view. 🙂

Marvelous set of travelogue images and commentary...bernd...!

Enjoyed everything about this post...have travelled through some of these Oriental cities you've cited.

Thanks for sharing (and for listening to my recent call for flying a big jet...🙂...you picked the biggest one...) ...

Great shots @bernd1151! And I see you are travelling first class, well deserved. Or was it just you wife, while you enjoyed the bottom floor?

Cheers, Gerold
