FPS unstability

Featured Replies

Hi guys. I want to ask for something related to the FPS inside the VC cockpit and the exteriar view of the plane.

First of all I set the FPS limit to 30 inside the FSX limiter. So the problem is that inside the PMDG 737 NGX VC the frames are not stable at all, while in the exterior view the fps are stable enough.

Inside the cockpit the fps are from 20-30 and sometimes below 20 and in exterior 29-30.

When i am at over FL200 the fps inside the cockpit are more stable, while at an airport are not!

Do you know why this happen? Is there any solution to that? Can you help me?

Thanks a lot!

I don't seen anything abnormal at all.  In fact, the same happens to me.  PMDG did set up something in the PMDG setup to adjust settings to get better performance in the VC.  You are going to have to live with the lower frame rates (especially if you have very high FSX settings).

Thank you very much for the answer.

I didnt know that this is normal.

An example of my settings is the cloud coverage. I have this to maximum but if i lower it to high the FPS inside the VC is not changing at all! Maybe a very little that human cant see! At external view with these settings my FPS are not dropping down of 28 frames, I think this is guite good!
