Saitek Panels Started Crashing

Featured Replies

HI All,

I have been using a Saitek X52 Pro along with Radio panel, multi panel & switch panel for some time without any issues whatsoever. Spad is controlling the hardware. Just lately randomly during a flight everything flashes and the panels all go out. On my joystick the mfd goes out then comes back on again. Sometimes I loose control of the joystick completely. I uninstalled Spad then re installed it again and I thought the problem was fixed. Yesterday I brought and installed the excellent Dash 8 Q400 and now the problem seems to be back. I just did a test flight this time I quit Spad before starting FSX and flew a 1.5 hour trip without problems.

I am kinda scratching my head here as everything has worked fine for well over a year. I should note that my joystick & switch panel go through a powered hub and my radio & multi panel go straight into usb on the top of the PC

Any ideas on what could be causing this would be most appreciated

Richard
