MSFS2024 : DLSS beats TAA !
I just put the 350 in the air to make sure all is OK after the update I just did and yes if I am being super picky there is a tiny amount of blurring on the far right digits on the altitude tape but I can still read it perfectly and that is on my 55" 4K Sony TV. The beauty of this method for me is that it puts more workload on my 4090 which it needs and I know from all my years of fine tuning flight sims from MS is that the more load on the GPU than CPU generally results in a smoother experience. Good luck with this, you can always go back to TAA

MSFS2024 : DLSS beats TAA !
Have you tried using a value of 1.5 for the secondary scaling? Maybe that would help

MSFS2024 : DLSS beats TAA !
I've had a bit of a flight sim break as it has been a busy summer but just thought I would mention what I have been doing for a while now. I have tried DLSS before and for me on my 55" Sony X90K the glass cockpits are too blurry. I always make sure I am up to date with my DLSS versions (Normal & FG) and with DLSS swapper (I do not use the NVIDIA App just the normal control panel) In the MSFS config file I set the secondary scaling to 2 which will double the render resolution. Then in the sim select the DLSS performance option. This reduces the native resolution in the sim by 50% back to 4K (At least I think this is how it works LOL). In doing this I get no blurry glass cockpits and all the benefits of using DLSS. I am running MSFS 2020 still with an i7-12700K, 32GB DDR4 3600 and a 4090. The sim looks and performs beautifully and I have been very happy. I run with a FPS lock of 72 in RTSS which gives me very consistent FTV and the end result is a super nice experience.

Ini A350 1.0.9 is OUT. Huge update.
I am still running MSFS 2020 and haven't had any significant issues. Performance is not bad either, I just left EGPH with plenty of BATC traffic and held a steady 66fps which is my set target fps for this bird. If I am departing IniBuilds EGLL then I will dial the traffic back. I find the performance of the Fenix A320 the best out of all my complex aircraft but honestly the 350 is not bad and I am still really enjoying her. This is the first aircraft I have ever completed a 16 hour flight in.

4K shadows in 2020
I haven't tried 4096 so can't really comment. It is always better to keep the load on the GPU so I have used this setting for years now, I guess it depends on how much VRAM you have and what the GPU is. For reference I am running a 4090 It is really simple to change it, just make sure the sim is not running.

4090 vs 5090
RJC68 replied to Fielder's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcMe too, I think NVIDIA are just robbing people now with their inflated prices Good luck with the new build

4090 vs 5090
RJC68 replied to Fielder's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcHopefully the prices stabilize and you can get them, I have seen a couple of Muppets trying to sell 5090's on FB Marketplace for over $6,000 CDN. I love sending them offers of $2,500 lol I will definitely be keeping my 4090

Need to replace my 55in 4K tv
RJC68 replied to jimimac's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcHey Jim, I am using a 55" Sony X90K, it is 4K 120Hz and GSYNC compatible. I run 100Hz @4K with ultra settings (MSFS 2020) and lock my FPS to 72 which produces a beautifully consistent frame time variance. Sony TV's are well known for their excellent motion handling. I could not be happier with this TV and could never go back to a 43" TV

I'm Glad I bought the INIBUILDS A350 !!!
Iāve really been enjoying her as well, the last couple of updates seem to have yielded a performance increase for me. Iāve also got a 15 hour flight under my belt from Singapore to London Gatwick with zero issues, never done that in any sim. Enjoy her, I think the A350 is the best looking airliner flying today

iFly Max update
I can concur with your statement Captain, The max is definitely not broken. I have been flying her a lot lately in MSFS 2020 and had zero issues, she hand flies very nicely and performance is good. I haven't flown my PMDG 737 since I have owned the Max. My three go to pay ware aircraft are now the Max 8, Fenix A320 & A350. I try to spend equal time in each as I really enjoy them all.

A350 iniBuilds - catastrophic release as never seen before
It was not any kind of argument, just my own feeling. If you think it is so bad why did you not ask for a refund!

A350 iniBuilds - catastrophic release as never seen before
I have had very few issues with her to be honest, I would like to see the auto tuning of the radio's fixed when using BATC, I know it is on the list for the developers. I updated to 1.0.3 yesterday afternoon and did a test flight from Hamburg to Istanbul and performance seemed way better, it was an exceptionally smooth flight with little to no stuttering, best I have seen so far and that was with live BATC traffic which I had to turn off previously. Hopefully it is still the same in 1.0.4 All in all I am pretty happy, yes it is a little on the pricey side but I work hard so doesn't really bother me. The other noteworthy point for me is that I did for the very first time a week ago a 15 hour flight from Singapore to London Gatwick in the A350 with zero issues or performance degradation. Have never done this in all the years I have been simming š

A350 iniBuilds - catastrophic release as never seen before
Yes I had TCAS on and was using BATC on all flights. While I am not a real life pilot I try to conduct every flight with as much realism as I can, I use the MCDU constantly throughout the flight as I do with every airliner I fly. I am on MSFS 2020 so not sure if that is helping with my situation.

A350 iniBuilds - catastrophic release as never seen before
Sorry, no issues here, at least 10 flights of around 2 to 3 hours duration and a 15 hour flight, none of which with a single crash.

IniBuilds EGNM Leeds Bradford
I am still on 2020 and have IniBuilds EGNM and normally use stands 7 or 8 and normally see parked traffic at the other ramps

iniBuilds A350 has been released!
For me I would say it is as complex as the Fenix & PMDG products but I am only an experienced simmer, I have never flown any of these aircraft IRL, Fenix have nailed it though I have to say, for me I find the A320 is the best performing complex addon I own. It is really well optimized. I do hope that IniBuilds can optimize her further in upcoming updates as the A350 can be pretty hard on resources but there is one heck of a lot of glass in that cockpit lol. Overall I do not regret the purchase, yesterday I actually completed a 15 hour flight in the A350 from Singapore to London Gatwick with zero issues, the longest fight I have ever done in all my simming years.

iniBuilds A350 has been released!
For anyone interested I am currently 13 hours in to a flight from Singapore to London Gatwick and it has not missed a beat. Roughly 1.5 hours to TOD. I am still on MSFS 2020 at the moment for reference.

New MSFS - New Computer Build and Expectations
RJC68 replied to Daniel Baker's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcHi Daniel, I get a solid 60-80 fps with basically ultra settings in MSFS 2020, I only fly quality pay ware aircraft (Fenix A320, iFly 737 Max & IniBuilds A350) I run 4K on my 55ā Sony X90J. Look at my sig for my pc specs. You should get decent performance from that PC. Iād be happy to answer any questions or help you setup your PC to get the best out of it.

Need your help with limiting frames
Well it is back to normal again lol I did update too the latest driver through the Nvidia App yesterday morning but did 3 flights in the A350 without any issues, I also noticed earlier that my DLSS preset setting was not on the latest version but I also tried with TLA and had the same result. The last time this happened was on the day of the latest NavData update, weird but at least I now know it doesn't seem to be anything on my end. Just a good old turn it off, leave for an hour and then turn it back on, thank goodness Microsoft/Asobo don't supply software to real aircraft š¤£

Need your help with limiting frames
The way I have been running my sim for quite some time is Low Latency - Ultra, GSYNC - On, VSYNC - On and refresh rate set to 100Hz all in NVCP (I have a 55" Sony X90J TV). Then in RTSS I limit the fps to 72 and turn front edge sync on as I find this gives me a very consistent frame time variance and a very smooth experience. The reason I have a fps lock is that my GPU sits around 60% and without a lock it will try and hit just under the 100 fps as it is supposed to do and this causes much higher GPU usage, heat & noise. In the sim FG - On & VSYNC - Off running 4K pretty much Ultra settings with TAA or DLSS depending on how I feel and what aircraft I am flying. About 2 weeks ago I fired the sim up and without doing anything panning and moving the camera about was just horrible, I spent all afternoon troubleshooting with older drivers but nothing worked, I gave up and turned off my PC. I came back next morning and fired up the sim to do some more troubleshooting and everything was back to normal would you believe. No more issues after that until this morning, the exact same thing, I have a solid 72fps and almost flat frame time variance but panning the camera in any aircraft is really horrible, not smooth as it was yesterday. All weekend I have been flying the A350 so I loaded the Fenix just to make sure and even the default Cessna 152 and it was the same. Something must be going on again with Microsoft/Asosbo. Turned off my PC and went to play with my 3d printer instead.

Inibuild A350 - Horrible FPS in FS2020
The auto tuning of radio frequencies with BATC is still hit and miss. Hope they fix that soon, I had read that this is an IniBuilds issue and not with BATC

Inibuild A350 - Horrible FPS in FS2020
I pulled the trigger yesterday, I am liking her. She is definitely a little harder on performance than the Fenix or 737 Max but definitely manageable. I am currently about 3 hours in from IniBuilds EGLL heading to FlyTampa CYYZ. So far zero issues and no performance degradation holding steady at 72 fps although I do expect that to drop once I hit Toronto. I did a couple of test route setups so I could get a feel for the new flows and programming the MCDU, the basics are the same coming from. any airbus although it did take me a awhile to figure out how to turn on TCAS lol. I got that figured before I fired up BATC š¤£
