I was loading up a EGLL-KEWR flight plan from simroute.com into the 777's fmc, and then I received a message saying that my imported plan was aborted. Any help?

It's probably in the wrong format, or there was an error in the output (my guess would be because of improper LAT/LON coordinates).

 

For what it's worth, the NATs change twice daily, so if you're using a canned flight from SimRoutes, it's going to be incorrect, and you'll probably be wasting a ton of time flying an old path through less than optimal wind (the NATs change so often in order to avoid the worst wind).

 

I'd suggest SimBrief.com.  It'll require you to register (for free), but it's a lot better - it'll have the right flight plan formats, and it will even help you plan fuel.
