April 22, 201412 yr Hi all, Summary: P3D V2.2 when trying to load, crashes out. It gets as far as the 'loading scenery progress bar' then vanishes from the screen. So I removed V2.1 from my pc and also followed the additional steps to remove the extra folders, as documented here, http://forum.avsim.net/topic/439035-read-me-first-if-you-are-having-v22-issues-follow-these-steps/. I then installed V2.2, following a successful installation I loaded up the sim. Initially, the sim loaded up the default flight, I then tried to open display settings, the software hangs for a couple of seconds then crashes/vanishes from my screen. I tried again and the same problem occurs, on the 3rd attempt I tried to open the control settings, same problem, finally on the 4th attempt the sim doesn't even complete the initial loading, it gets as far as the 'loading scenery progress bar' and then crashes out. I have tried a full reinstall, having made sure it was fully uninstalled from my system, this has not resolved the issue. Struggling to know what to do to resolve this. I didn't have any issues with V2.1 on my system. Also at no point have I installed any additional addons, this is simply the sim only. My PC Spec is: CPU: Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30ghz Mobo: Asrock Fatal1ty Z77 Performance Series Memory: 16gb Corsair Vengeance GPU: 2x MSI Radeon R9 270X (connected as crossfire) HDD: 128gb SSD (Windows 7 Home edition) and 320gb Maxtor (P3D dedicated drive) Also have a Saitek AV8R-01 joystick. PC is fully up to date with drivers and windows updates. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tom Tom Why not read some useful tips and tricks - http://forum.avsim.n...22#entry1965722
