February 11, 200521 yr I see from the panel screenshots some sort of route being displayed. My question is how do you imput routes into it? Is there an FMC or something like that? And also, what kind of AP NAV systems are there? Similar to LNAV, VNAV? Please excuse my ignorance. I'm a moron when it comes to turboprops...Thanks,Tim
February 11, 200521 yr The flight plan is from the internal flight planner is FS2004, just shows the route as per the standard GPS.You only have the "basic" AP NAV systems, no VNAV or LNAV, just able to use NAV mode to follow VOR or slave to the GPS.Dan.
February 11, 200521 yr You can "retrofit" the King Air with various gauges from Reality XP. I have it fitted out with the Jetline 2, the gps, and the weather radar. I use the garmin gns 530 to input the route. ricardo
February 11, 200521 yr Same here. Definately an option worth considering if you don't mind the extra cost (or already have the RXP packages! :-) )Ian P.

I'm sure there are 100+ articles out there explaining how I could go about doing that, so if you could kindly point me to a few, I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you,Robert
February 12, 200521 yr Robert:"retrofitting" is a two-part process. First of all, you will need to have the appropriate reality xp gauges. Secondly, you will need to edit your plane's panel cfg to make them show up in the panel. Here is a link to the user files on reality-xp.com. Look for the one for the Aeroworx King Air. It's a complete file + instructions, allowing you to install any and all combinations of the gauges.http://www.reality-xp.com/community/files.htmricardo
