April 25, 201412 yr Q: How to make the autopilot faster responsive so that speed is closelt maintained. I guess it's got to do with the PID settings of the speed controller... Where is is usually coded? In the gauge, in the fde, the aircraft.cfg? Not sure I was clear... Thanks for your help. Ghiom
April 26, 201412 yr It would help to know the specific aircraft and/or whether your problem is with a jet or a turboprop aircraft. The only PID settings I'm aware of are the ones in the autopilot section that control tracking of the NAV and Glideslope. As far as I know, the only autothrottle variables are autothrottle_max_rpm and max_throttle_rate. If there are others, they probably are not accessable by the user. Regards, JerryH
