Capable of running at 380km/h, the CRH380D is one of the fastest production trains in the world. It uses state-of-the-art flat-screen glass panels in the driver's cab to display train information and signal data and can be driven manually or by using the on-board computers.

The CRH380D has been developed to interact with the CTCS-3 (China Train Control System) signalling system included in the 146km Chengdu-Suining High Speed Route, so the route is perfectly equipped for this sleek and speedy modern loco.

Also supplied with the route is a CRH1A EMU that is designed for commuter use and is also equipped with the CTCS-3 system - it's by no means slow, but it will let you catch your breath after the CRH380D and give you a bit more time to appreciate the scenery and the detailed stations along the route!
