Default Flight

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me with these.1) Every time I start FS9 it goes to the original default flight. (Cessna at KSEA) I have created new defaults but when I start FS9 over the next time it loads the old default again.2) Also, I own active Camera and now have to uncheck the "gradual ????" in spot view every time I switch aircraft. Seems to me that my cfg file is regenerating every time I start up FS.Any suggestions? Thanks,Scott

I'm not sure about your question re. Active Camera, but as far as your default flights go, open your FS9.cfg, and make sure the SITUATION= under "USER INTERFACE" looks like this:"USERINTERFACE"MAP_ORIENTATION=2PAUSE_ON_LOST_FOCUS=0PROMPT_ON_EXIT=1SelectFlightLevel=0SelectFlightTitle=4PageID=8OpenATCOnCreate=0SITUATION=C:Documents and SettingsYour NameMy DocumentsFlight Simulator FilesStart<----------Name of the flight you want as a default flight.Close and save your fs9.cfg after you have put that path and name of the flight you want as default. The "Your Name" part should be your name, or whatever name you have the computer under. After doing this FS9 will function properly when you save a flight and make it a default.
