first of all, Im sorry if this is the wrong forum, I don't really know where to put this in. I've been having a few problems. I don't know why but all of a sudden this has been happening to my aircraft

 

II am guessing these are contrails but something has happened to them. Any help with this is appreciated. If it helps these are my specs AMD FX™-4170 Quad Core Processor. 8.00 GB of RAM. 64 bit Operating System GPU: AMD Raedeon HD 7800 Series.0 

That happens, if some textures are missing or corrupted. IIRC, a freeware utility called Gauge Recovery can solve this issue.

I had this same problem and it was a missing fx_smoke.bmp in my Effects/texture I believe.
