April 28, 201412 yr Connected a Saitek Backlit Information Panel (BIP) to my computer, programmed using their software, and installed SPAD drivers. When SPAD initializes, all of the BIP tiles light up briefly, so I know it works to at least some minimal level. In FSX, nothing. I mostly fly a default C172; when things light up in the FSX cockpit (oil pressure, Com 1, Com 2, Nav 1, etc) for which I have a corresponding BIP tile, those things don't respond as I would expect them to. When I try a default 737, still nothing. Thoughts? Thanks. Scott
June 21, 201411 yr I see you got no reply.. sounds very similar to my earlier problem with BIP ...see http://forum.avsim.net/topic/429423-saitek-bip-wont-recognise-new-profile-it-uses-the-old-one/ Basically the profile was not being recognised as it is residing in the folder used by the old driver, not the new one... a bit of copying & pasting was needed I havent altered the profile since.. and Im not going too either.. if it aint broke, donk muck round with it.!!
