April 29, 201412 yr Hi all wonder if someone can help. i run fsx one a server with other addons on a client including squawkbox. have used SB many times but for some reason, after reinstalling after a reformatt on both pc's, the SB transponder no longer appears anywhere. i can log in, change frequencies in my aircraft but tearing my hair out over the sb transponder not showing and unable to use the ptt button. can anyone shed some light of hope for me please. regards Steve Crocker Core i7 4770k @4.68gb RAMNvidia 560ti Gigabyte Z87 MB
April 30, 201412 yr Yes, I have suffered a similar issue. I am sorry to say that I never found a resolution. I think the transponder window some how gets into a position which is 'off-screen' either horizontally or vertically and it is impossible to pull it back on screen. Further, uninstalling and reinstalling the Squawkbox program did not restore it, and despite a thorough manual search through the windows registry using regedit for any and all Squawkbox entries, deleting everying I could find about Squawkbox, I could never retrieve the transponder. I think I even tried attaching a second monitor to see if I could see it. I think the transponder window contains code which remembers the 'minus' horizontal and vertical pixel values of its last position and continues to position itself by reference to that every time it opens. Switch to FSCopilot and FSInn? Phil

May 2, 201412 yr Author Result...all working fine. I disabled the uPNP on my router. There was one thing I did not take into consideration since I reformatted both machines and that was moving house, which of course meant new router and internet provider =uPNP on the router not liking squawkbox communicating on the network. Many thanks for your help Steve Crocker Core i7 4770k @4.68gb RAMNvidia 560ti Gigabyte Z87 MB
