You will need a licenced version of fsuipc and wide fs, these both talk to each other and will allow you to run any acars on another pc and anything else that connects to the sim via fsuipc. Active sky next uses sim connect so you will need to set that up. If you use EFB that has its own components to do this. EFB and wide fs are extremely simple to set up but sim connect is a little trickier. Froogle has a video which explains all three. Hope this helps.

Found a solution around this and works fine for me. type “services” in the Windows 10 search box and click View Local Services. Scroll down to Windows Update and double-click the service. Set the startup type to Disabled. If the service is already running, click Stop. After the service has stopped, click OK. If you now click Check for Updates in the Windows Update app, you should see a reassuring error message. This means updates are now turned off. If you want to update windows, simply re enable. Hope this helps

Gtx 980. Temp and everything fine no overclock. Quite clued up with computers but this stumped me. however, after testing other drivers I found 344.75 driver has solved the issue. Touchwood, have done a couple of flights in the 737 have gone textbook. Thanks for your help there.

Hi all After a while, usually on decent, the last two and only flights I have done in this aircraft, the driver crashes, resets then results in fatal error in prepar3d. The T7 and other aircraft work like a dream. Just wondering at this stage weather anyone else has experienced this. My current driver is 347.52 which I have been using since its release with no issues. Thanks in advance

Just to add to this for those who do not wish to add lots of liveries in order for them to show up, i found typing PMDG in the vehicle list search bar showed all PMDG installed liveries also.

Thanks for that. i am looking at the Evga to which has a base clock of 1266 but noticed the Zotac has a base of 1291, not sure if that will make a huge difference.

You will see the pink localiser diamond at the bottom of the PFD to help keep you aligned with the runway. Also use light movements to correct the aircraft whilst closely following the flight director to bring you down to the runway.

Been doing a lot of short hops of three or four flights a day. ASN is on a networked computer and setting up for my first flight ASN does not auto load the flight plan. However, it does load for each of the following flights I set up after each landing. Not a major problem as the simple work around I manually load my first flight into ASN just wondered if anyone else has had this happen.

Intel is the processor for FSX. At the mo an i7 Haswell is the best one I have mine overlooked to 4.6 and running well with fps locked at 25.next gen Intel Broadwell I beleive is due for release later in the year.

I beleive the detection of ground clutter will appear in a future SP

i beleive its ok to reinstall and add liveries to the ngx if you have updated the OC centre. i think the reason we were asked to uninstall the ngx liveries is because we can now install the ngx liveries direct from the OC and no longer have to download them from the PMDG website.

Hi Do you use ezdok? if so did you fire up the ezdok config after installing the 777. not seen these affects from not running the config, but worth a try.

Result...all working fine. I disabled the uPNP on my router. There was one thing I did not take into consideration since I reformatted both machines and that was moving house, which of course meant new router and internet provider =uPNP on the router not liking squawkbox communicating on the network.Many thanks for your help

Hi all wonder if someone can help. i run fsx one a server with other addons on a client including squawkbox. have used SB many times but for some reason, after reinstalling after a reformatt on both pc's, the SB transponder no longer appears anywhere. i can log in, change frequencies in my aircraft but tearing my hair out over the sb transponder not showing and unable to use the ptt button. can anyone shed some light of hope for me please. regards

@speedbird try adding HIGHMEMFIX=1 to the cfg file found in app data. Sounds like an OOM issue.

Hello I have had to do a clean install, and decided to buy the extended download for my T7 , 747, 747(8) exp and MD11, approx 8 hours ago. My T7's URL renewed immediately however the 747, 747(8)exp and MD11 have not renewed. I have also submitted tickets in the hope the links would renew. I appreciate you guys are busy and i am a patient person, but am concerned there maybe an issue with the other URL's when the T7 extension went through straight away. Many Thanks Steve Crocker
