Virtualcol Saab 340/2000 coming soon

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I just received word from the developer at Virtualcol that they are working on a Saab 340 and Saab 2000 that are due for release by the end of the month. I am personally very excited about this, as the Saab 340 is my favorite aircraft. From what I have seen on the forums, several people also feel that an FSX Saab 340 is long overdue. Also, we have never seen a payware Saab 2000 for any platform. It should be a good way to tide us Saab lovers until the Razbam version is released (probably a year or two from now).

Now, I know that this aircraft will be highly simplified, and made for the more casual simmer. However, all of Virtualcol's products are priced VERY cheap ($10.50), and they keep getting better. Their Jetsream 31 was kinda bad, and frankly the Dornier 328 jet/prop wasn't good at all either, but their more recent releases aren't bad for the price. I hope that this doesn't read like an ad for Virtualcol, I'm just very excited that this plane is being developed, and I think that it is good to support a developer that releases cheap, fun, and reasonably well made planes for FSX (it seems like they will be releasing a Shorts Skyvan/330/360 eventually as well https://www.virtualcol.com/products/avances.php)

Looks like a Piper Aztec eventually as well.
