(live just west of the Cape, watch most launches from our home !)Just saw the news blurb that "Spirit" made it's landing on Mars !!!First Picture shown on TV Looks Great !!!I also read that a very highly acclaimed TV program on the "Spirit" and "Opportunity" rover program (1 hr. long) will be shown tonight (Sunday) and next Tuesday - 8PM EST - on the project details - with the last minutes of the program "reserved" for the latest updates and pictures (if any) from Mars. Program is to be aired on "PBS" - so most "should" be able to see it.....May be worth watching........ if we can break from football long enough......:-spacecraft

We're on MARS. WOW The guy said hitting the several mile hole to safely get through the Martian atmosphere without burning up or skipping is like threading a needle at 15 miles.Check PBS.org for times of the show. Also shows on the 8th. at 1 am.JimCYWG
