A new member just saying hi.

Hi all, I did already post a question which was answered, however, when I join forums I really feel the need to say hello and introduce myself to members and not just "JUMP IN".

So my name is Chris Johnson, I have FSX and X-Plane 10 (which I think I will leave for a year or so!!!). I am new to "REAL" flight sims and I am just having a great time.

I live in the UK quite close to the Birmingham area (DO NOT call me a brummie), my day job is a Critical Systems Administrator for a multi-national company and am 49.6 years old. I also play guitar and am in a recording band which is kinda cool.

So, that's basically it! Glad to be part of the forum and looking forward to chatting with a few of you. Now I am off to the paint forum to try and figure this out.

Hey Chris, nice to meet you!

Try to fly on both FSX and X-Plane 10! Maybe FSX is more "user friendly" at first, but once you know your stuff, you'll find X-Plane 10 very satisfying as well!

And as I said on your other thread, work through Rod Machado's lessons!
